Katerine Barrera's child is now live! Pretty amazing, life and death and all that... just today wondering about such things while looking at the obits, as has been my habit of late... some go, some come in.

Babies have been coming round of late - had to hold my niece for a while last nite cuz she was fussing (some long-overdue bilingual international impromptu family gathering), and then I had to tell her "hey, at 9 months you're already making a fuss? Just wait till you're a little older, save your tears till then." That seemed to sober her right up.
