pre-teen rock-stardom reclaimed!!

well! how unexpectedly delightful revisiting bon jovi has been - was at the local used CD store, looking for deals on used Bowie CD's -as usual- when I ran across bon jovi's 'new jersey', boasting some of the same songs me and my wastrel little stepsister would rock out to, jumping around with tiring enthusiasm to such hits as 'bad medicine' and 'I'll be there for you', feeling 'all cool', whatever the fuck that means - didn't know what it meant then,

sure as hell don't know what it means now -except that I'm not it, thus incapable of reaping the monetary rewards that harvesting a large crop of unquestioning followers would inevitably bring...

oh well.

here's to bon jovi, and the days when a catchy tune and a rock anthem were 'enough'
